I am looking to join a gym that offers child care while I work out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! We live in Montomgery so anything close to that would be great! Thanks!

What can I do next?

I go to Cardinal Fitness in Oswego and they have childcare... a huge room of toys and great people that watch the kids. I highly recommend them!

Hi J.! We belong to the YMCA, and they have childcare and it is free for members while you work out.

We go to X Sport on Rt 59 in Naperville- they have childcare- $1/child/hour. The Eola Community Center has a gym but I don't know if they offer child care.

Thats where I go. The cost per child is $2 an hour per child for residents and $3 an hour per child for non-residents. My kids love going there. They have a huge play room and then an additional room with slides and tubes the kids can crawl through. Hope this helps!

I go to a stroller fitness class in Naperville that is held at the riverwalk and then at the Fox Valley in the winter and rainy days. You might want to try this also. It is inexpensive and there is no childcare needed since they are in the stroller while you workout. It is a great workout. You do a lot of resistance with tubbing, running, jumping jacks, push ups, abdominals etc... Also you meet so many other women and their children. I have meet so many new freinds this way and my 2 year old son has so many new friends. I have been going since he was 10 months old. He loves it and he is even starting to do the exercises himself. The nice thing is that you get an awesome workout and then aferwards the kids get to play whle the moms talk and then go for lunch after that. When it is in the mall at Fox Valley the kids get to play afterwards, while mom has her coffee and visits with friends and then go shopping, woohoo. For more information go to www.bigbellyfitness.net. Your first class is free so why not go and check it out. Bring your freinds. Be sure to bring a towel to lay on, one to wipe the sweat away and water. Hope to see you there.
