I am going to watch tonight. I am not sure if it is like those that stare at a nasty car accident. Perhaps I am needing to know which personality Obama brings. Maybe I just don't have a life.

So anyone else watching and why?

Oh and if anyone has a drinking game please provide a link. :)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Cheryl, they said somewhere around 4% are undecided. That actually seems a bit high to me.

Lee Lee, I love you but I have no idea what you are talking about. I mean that in a confused, not snotty way.

Lili, why would someone look on their website to see what their plans are? I would think neither site has a stitch of truth on it.

Oh Robin, I don't know how to tell you but they publish transcripts. Much easier. Granted the last one didn't say when Biden mumbled but still, I couldn't understand him either.

Am I the only one who respects my spouses request that I not yell at the TV?

I live in Wisconsin. After the the whole recall of Governor Walker and all the negitive political ads. I am so sick of politics I could scream or move to a country where I can't understand the language and thus not have to listen to it.
I know who I am voting for -- and it's not Obama.

Yes, we are watching tonight. My daughters frown and complain every time I mention a debate or football! lol Haven't heard of any drinking games to go along with it, but if I do, I'll let you know! ;) My mind won't be changed, though; I'm set on Romney.

Recording it. Most likely watching it.

Won't change my mind though.

What Obama am I expecting tonight?
The rude one.
The interrupter.
The finger pointer.
The one to bring up Bain and shipping jobs overseas (when Romney isn't in charge anymore) and I hope to God that Romney fires back "And what about the factories that your Job Czar Inmelt is closing and the jobs that are being sent overseas????
All in all? I don't expect Obama to do much of anything since he doesn't have a good record to stand on...

If he talks about deficits...Romney better fire back with Obama's lack of being able to produce and finalize ONE (1) budget throughout his whole term...or the one that did get presented that EVERYONE voted against....

If he talks about jobs...Romney better fire back about the HOW MANY MILLIONS of people STILL out of work??? And why unemployment NEVER being below 8% (did you see that one state failed to turn in their numbers to the BLS and that's why it dropped to 7.8%?)

Any way - Obama sucks. His record PROVES he sucks.

OBAMA MUST GO!!!

I will watch tonight's "Town Hall" type debate where "the people" ask the questions. I will probably take notes-have done so twice now, because I will want to have direct quotes and be able to further support and substantiate my claim as to Governor Romney's abundant abilities and qualifications and his obvious, impeccable character as opposed to obama's ineptitude. Difficult to imagine a guy taking office with complete majority in the House and Senate of his own party and still whining four years later about what a predessessor did, and yet...............

Yeah, I'll be watching. Cause I'm interested in which Etch-A-Sketch drawing will be on display tonight ... the severely conservative or the moderate Mitt ('where ya been the last two years, boy??' lmao every time I see the footage of Clinton saying that I crack up!) Oh, and here's my rebuttal in terms of 'boy' ... yeah, the word's been used to describe Obama, too.

ETA: here ya go ;)

On a serious note, I always enjoy the townhall debates w/ real voters the most.

I'll be watching but I don't think it will make a difference on who I will vote for. I will most certainly be voting for Obama regardless. I suppose the debate is geared towards those swing voters that are up until now undecided. Those voters in my opinion would be better served if they read both candidates websites and compared their plans. As far as I'm concerned the debates at this point have devalued to an American Idol type quality ... whoever gives the best performance that night. I think it would be better if they both sang a song instead!

Oh! That was FUN!
Even Faux concedes Mitt lost.
Such a sweet victory on SO many levels.
Mitt still has NO plan. I
Allegedly, it's a 5 point plan but you won't know the 5 points until he buys this presidency....
Good luck with that, Mitt.

I would love to watch it but I can't stand all the snippity comments my husband blurts out over the candidates. Can't hear a darn thing with him doing that. I don't drink. The only one I've ever heard of (on the radio earlier today) was you pick a workd and have a drink when either candidate says that word.

Oh, and I loved seeing Romney ask Obama if he'd looked at his pension lately and Obama evade....

Anyone who is undecided and allows a silly debate "performance" determine who to vote for at THIS POINT is just stupid. Sorry, but this election is monumental. I just can't believe some people are STILL undecided. Seriously!!!

Let the spin begin...

Yes I will be watching tonight. I have already decided who I am voting for and the debates will not change my mind, but it is sort of interesting to hear just how much BS comes out of their mouths. Both of them.

Drinking game... Every time you have the urge to shout out "that's total Bullsh*t!!" have a drink instead. Guaranteed you'll be on the floor within a half hour!

Yup. As I said during my last response to the debate posts, the debates are pure entertainment. Better than Reality TV. Hey, speaking of, maybe a debate spinoff: Dancing with the Candidates! America's got taxes?

Anyway, I believe elections are fixed somewhat by the lobbyists (cough, insurance companies, cough, cough), and by the unfair electoral college.

I'm watching even though I am very decided on where my vote is going.....if you're playing the Bush drinking game, I bet you're ripped right about now.
I don't think its that unreasonable that some people use the debates to help with their decision. I live in a swing state and ALL I HEAR AND SEE ARE ATTACK ADS FROM THE NOBAMA CAMP. The debates give Romney an opportunity to debunk all the lies that some people hear in the ads. The debates are a much better platform for people to base their decision on than the commercials they hear and see, which unfortunately, is what some people do.

I will watch even though I know who I'm voting for. They are both politicians so much of what the say on the camera is full of you know what to get elected or re-elected. I think you have to decide which plan works better. I personally think its about stiring business and promoting businesses to build here not over seas is better than giving money for health insurance etc. There needs to be more jobs out there and more entry level jobs. So in this global community that means giving businesses incentives to build a business in the us not over sees and bring factories back here. I do not agree though with giving money to these businesses. Tax breaks are one thing but actual money is crazy.
