I heard of a study where people played a certain type of flute and found they no longer had a problem. It tightened up the muscles in the throat. I apologize, I don't know what kind of flute it was, but I imagine that any type of flute would do the trick. You may flog me if I'm wrong. :D

I was allowed to take Coricidin D (I think that is the name) for my congestion. I was so stuffed up with both of my pregnancies in the third trimester. Snoring is really common with your blood vessels all swollen. Try saline drops too.

C.,
Peppermint oil can help clear your nasal passages. You can either rub it on your nose and throat before bed, and/or put a few drops in a bowl of water and breathe in the vapors before bed. I use both methods, not only do I feel better, but I smell good, too!
Good luck!

I know from experiance. My husbad had a real problem with snoring. I made hi go to the docter, and the doctor said I probably help save is life. Because he would fall asleep while driving only about a few miles. The doctor did a sleep apnea test and he now sleeps with a mask on. He is doning 100% beter. he now gets plenty of rest at night. You should tell the doctor all your symptoms and see what he thinks. I wish you lots of luck!

I used a humidifier through all of my pregnancies and it really helped me! I still snored I am sure but not as bad from what my snoring husband has said!

I believe that is natural for a lot of women. When you are pregnant the baby pushes up on all your organs when you are laying down. It is harder to have air flow thus the snoring!! I do not snore, until I am pregnant! Once the baby is born the snoring stops. Do you snore normally or is it only when you are pregnant. Maybe sleep with more pillows to lift your body up a little more.
Good luck. S

This may sound crazy but it really helps me a ton. My dentist gives me the little cotton rolls they use and I put one on either side of my mouth between my upper lip and my teeth/gums. (Not too far back or they don't really help - just about starting at the eye teeth.) It opens my nose out a little more and I breathe and also sleep much better! I just googled dental cotton rolls, and found a source online that doesn't look like you need to be a dentist to order from. It is net32.com
I have also tried the product snoreclipse which you can get at drugstore.com. When I could get used to it, I liked it, but sometimes it bothered me - might be worth a try for you - I generally can't stand anything, even glasses on my face. Here's another nose clip I haven't tried yet: http://www.prettylikeme.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCod...
And also I just found this site which looks interesting as well! www.ijustwanttosleep.com
My favorite is the cotton rolls though. I am even supposed to have a cpap and like this better - I sleep better. Good luck!!
