Has anyone used the Skecher Shape Ups? They sound great. All you do is use them for walking and it firms and tones your legs, thighs, butt, abs and strengthens your back. Everything I need and want. But like most products sounds too good to be true. They are over $100 a pair. I don't mind spending the money if someone has used them and think they are worth it.
I've had mine for a few weeks...I haven't been able to get real heavy into excercise walking yet but have worn them around the house and out shopping....that being said, they definitely feel different than normal tennis shoes and really force you to do a solid heal to toe step which I believe leads to the toning. Anyway, I don't think you should expect any miracles (I haven't anyway) but my experience so far has been positive.
I bought a pair of MBT's which are the original version about 3 years ago. I was pregnant with my third child and work on my feet all day at a retail pharmacy. They did not change my appearance but they did help a great deal with my back pain. I do believe that they help strengthen all the smaller muscles and stabilizer muscles in your legs and back. I paid almost $300 for my pair so $100 doesn't sound so bad. By the way I still wear them to work.
Avon has the same thing they are made by Curves and they are about 29.99, and work just the same, they come in a shoe and a sandal.
I do not know the brand but once on Dr Phil Robin gave away some shoes to the audience that she and the daugher in law swear by. Probably was those. Let us know when you body changes so we can all run out and get them. LOLO G. W

Looking forward to reading more responses. I haven't tried the Sketchers, but I bought the Fit Flops when they were first released. They were a huge disappointment.
