Sewing Service in Woodbridge
Does anyone have a seamstress that they can recommend in the Woodbridge area? I am relatively new to the area and am looking for someone that will do simple home sewing projects at a very reasonable price. Sewing buttons back on something after they fall off is at the outer limits of my sewing skills and I need someone that can do things like sew a contrasting fabric on a pair of curtain panels or make a slipcover for a small ottoman. I don't need anything fancy or anyone with interior design training -- just a solid seamstress that doesn't charge a lot. Am I dreaming?

Hi. I have found that if you go to a fabric store like hancock fabrics or whatever the people who work there do work for you. They kind of do it on the sly, I don't think the corporation they work for approves but I have found someone twice now that way. Good luck!

I have been using a lady in Springfield that I absolutly love. Her name is Marta and her # is ###-###-####. She has done all my alterations from business clothes to bridesmaids dress and finally my wedding dress. I love her and she is very reasonably priced.
Good luck

S., I live near Springfield Mall, just north of Woodbridge and offer sewing services. I am competitively priced and am always willing to work out a good deal. I have been sewing most my life and started my part time business about 5 1/2 years ago. I offer sewing, quilting, and machine embroidery services. I have even done re-upholstery for one client. I have photos of some of the work I have done for your review. I do little advertising because the prefered method of such would be word of mouth which means my clients are happy with my services. I would be humbled to discuss your sewing needs with you. You can contact me at ____@____.com (minus the space). I look forward to hearing from you soon! Katheirne M

Hi! I work in the Lake Ridge area and have used a seamstress who works out of her home near Tackett's Mill. Although I have not used her for home projects, she is always quick and reasonably priced when I have gone to her with clothing alterations. She is located at 12629 Harbor Drive. Good Luck!
