Custom Jeweler Suggestions? Want Wedding Ring Remade; KC Metro Area Preferred

Hello!
My husband suggested we redo my ring for our upcoming anniversary. As our marriage has changed through the years, he thought it would be nice to reflect that in the ring by using other stones & gold from other jewelry that has sentimental value to me but I won't/can't wear it! I have a pair of gorgeous gold & amethyst earrings that are really not my style and then were chewed on by a curious toddler!

I second the House of Diamonds. They were great to work with either finding pieces or making up what you want. They were also great with working with our (very small) budget. Great gift!

I would recommend Drennon Jewelers. They recently merged with Especially Jewelry and have an outstanding team. We had my husbands wedding ring completely custom made by Especially Jewelry. They are priced very well and the customer service is amazing. They are off of I-70 and Lee's Summit Rd. Shop around and good luck!

What a fantastic idea!! Your husband gets a star for that one. :) I have heard good things about Meierottos as well, and helped a friend select his wife's engagement ring there. I do think they are a little on the pricey side. We have used Joslin's for our big jewelry purchases. They are also family-owned and a much smaller shop. They are on 95th and Metcalf in Johnson County.

House of Diamonds off of Quivira on College Blvd in Overland Park! They designed my wedding ring and I couldn't be happier! Great prices, very friendly & knowledgeable. I've sent several friends there and they've all been happy. We had such a great experience there, it's now where we purchase all our jewelry.
