I would like to get a fence for my back yard. We have a dog that would be much happier if she could run around in the back yard.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you so much for your responses. I went with Fence Depot. The price was about half of the other bids I got and the products were very similar.

We were extremely happy with The Fence Depot. They were very professional, reasonable, and easy to work with. I have given their name to other friends and family member who have used them as well and were pleased with the results.

Hi, went through interviewing a bunch of fence companies in March. After talking to approximately 6 different companies, we had Precision Fence & Vinyl install a cedar wood split rail fence for us. We dealt with Brian at ###-###-####. This company was the best of all the people we spoke to and were very upfront. In addition their prices were extremely reasonable. They did the job they said they were going to do, and finished it in the time they stated! The wood is guaranteed and so was the work. We also have an invisible fence (very large yard so fencing around the whole thing was cost prohibitive), which is working GREAT! We had Kennelwood install this for us and our dog runs around the yard but avoids the edges where the fence is. Can't even remember the last time he got close enough to activate the shock part. Even if other dogs are out walking in the front yard he will just sit and watch. Before he would run out after them. Hope this helps!

We had our fence installed by Chesterfield Fence company. They did a really good job and we were very happy by the results. They are in the yellow pages.

I'm not sure who to recommend but Schlechta Fence I would defiantly NOT recommend. I'm probably spelling this wrong but if you've been around St. Peters/O'Fallon you have see the signs on the fence.

Even though our 6ft Cedar 1600sqft privacy fence looks good now it took the Better Business Bureau to get involved for it to be done correctly. I know you see them all over O'Fallon/St. Peters area which is why we went with them and I say caution to you.

They did finally resolve our problem but only after I contacted the BBB to file a formal complaint. It was amazing how I was calling them for over 3 months to fix the problem (absolutely no response- I left voicemails almost daily) but the BBB contacted them and poof a call back and a week later it was fixed. Amazing. URRRR.
