Seeking Reasonably Priced Women's Hair Stylist in Central Contra Costa County

Does anyone know of a good hair stylist (that works some evenings and weekends) that charges in the mid price range. I have medium length straight hair and my cut is not that complex, so I really don't want to pay $50+ per visit, as I'm not usually that thrilled with the results anyway. I also don't want to go to a drop in chain where you get a different stylist every time - looking for something in between. I used to have a good hair stylist that charged about $35 (+tip), but she moved. I prefer Pleasant Hill, Concord, Martinez, but also willing to go to WC & Lamorinda. Thanks for your recommendations!

I go to Red Hot Hair on Colfax Street in Concord. Good prices and great atmosphere. Plenty of parking and always on schedule. The number is ###-###-#### if you want to call Eva, who does my hair.

Salon Bella in Walnut Creek.. I see the owner Isabella Colla but all of the stylists in there are good and in the $50 range for cuts.. You get high quality service and do not have to pay those trendy high prices.

Hi,
I go to Beauty Boutique in Concord off Port Chicago. I see the owner Nikisa. I don't know how much a cut would be because i usually get color done too, but it's well worth it! She was a contestant on Sheer Genious on Bravo, she was the third to last that was eliminated! I love her and I love my hair!!! She always has good deals on product too!

I am not sure what you mean by "mid" price range. I have gone for several years to Sharen in Alamo at Ciao Bella. She charges me $45.00 for a cut, which I ALWAYS receive compliments on. She does not work weekends but she does work Tuesday and Thurseday early evening.
Her # ###-###-####. Good luck!

Hi M.,

I am a hairstylist and have been in this field for 34 years. I do not know if you want to travel to Alameda, I do work nights and some weekends.

Let me know if I may help you.

I see Marcia, over at Maria's in Pleasant Hill, by the Lunardi's. She is REALLY good! She charges $35 for a haircut and $45 if you get your hair washed and styled too. She charges a little more initially, so that she can "get to know" your hair. Believe me, it's worth it!
