Looking for a Salon/stylist in the WC Area for Cut and Color.

Recently moved to WC from out of state and my hair dresses wouldn't come with me! Looking for someone to cut and color my shoulder length hair. Also, what is the 'going rate' for a woman's haircut around here? I desperately need to get something done with the mop! Thank you!!

I love Rudi at Mu Salon in San Ramon. Her phone number is ###-###-#### (cell). She is the owner and I have followed her from her previous shop. She's been cutting and coloring my shoulder length (and curly) hair for 7 years now. She's a color expert!! If you make an appointment tell her L. sent you. :)

Salon Bella in Walnut Creek. All girls are great and the prices are great! ###-###-####

Hi N.,

Welcome to the neighborhood! I love Natasha at Changes Salon & Day Spa on Broadway in Walnut Creek. I've been going to her for a few years now...I also have shoulder length hair. She is super friendly, very professional, and always does a great job.

Regarding rates, I've found that $50 seems to be the average price for a hair cut. Once you add color to the mix, you're looking at about $120 - $170, depending on the person, obviously.

Good luck in your search! I know a good hairstylist is hard to find!

Shay at Phoenix Salon in WC is awesome!

Patti Stewart at Salno Ciao Bella in Alamo,,,She's the bomb and keeps up wih the latest stylea.

Changes is a good salon and they offer a variety of other services. Salon Amour in WC is an Aveda Concept Salon and is very nice. It's more intimate than Changes. My hair dresser, who used to be with Salon Amour, is N. (____@____.com) and she is now at Le Jardin at the Spa in Pleasant Hill. She charges about $65 for a cut but she's really good. However, I think she's booking out a few weeks because she is so popular. Good-luck!
