Seeking Plastic Recycling Center in Cypress / Katy Area!

We have begun our "recyle" plastic program in our home and I have been unable to locate a local drop station. Anyone know of a good source?
Thanks!

What can I do next?

I bring my glass to a place on Brittmore/Westview Rds off of I-10 near the Sam Houston Tollway. For me it is a hike, but I save it up and when I head out that way I bring it with me for quick drop off. It is right there at the intersecion of Brittmore and westview. You pull in and huge bins are on your right. Glass, plastic and cardboard are accepted.

The only place I know is the HEB by me. It has a big trailer-type thing in the parking lot that does plastic and aluminum. It is frustrating to have to work so hard to recycle, though.

I do not know if you have a HEB close to you, some of their stores have plastic/metal and paper recycle service in the parking lot.

You can find one that may be convenient to you at their website.

K., this was a great question because I have been wanting this info. THanks!!!!!!!!

I know that the HEB stores have recycling dumpsters. That is where I take mine. They have plastic, paper and aluminum.

Hope that helps.

I'm not really sure where cypress is but we take ours to the bins on the corner of Franz Rd & Ave D in Katy. It's across from Church's Chicken at the gas station, there's a laundry mat across the street from the bins. Also, if you do a web search on Houston area recycling centers, it will provide a good list on where you can go. I'm sorry I don't have that link avail right now. Good luck!
