I use Dr. McPhearson at Conroe Pediatrics. I'm not sure what insurance he takes. He is really great with the kids. It does take a little wait to get in and see him. But he takes the time with you and his nurses are great and will help you over the phone, if they can, so you don't have to come in.

Texas Childrens Pediatrics in the Woodlands is wonderful. I take my son to Dr. Susan O'Neil. There phone number is ###-###-####.

My son is adopted and we searched and took my son to so many different places before I found Dr. O'Neil. My son was a year old at the time and she litterly got down on the floor with him and played with him while doing part of the examination to make him feel comfortable. I wouldn't take my son anywhere else.

Texas Children's Pediatrics in Conroe...Dr. MacPherson is amazing! I am a new mom (8 week old). My father-in-law said he took all of his kids there, my teaching assistant takes her children, and my dearest friend takes her girls there. I also did a mamasource request a couple of months ago and he came highly recommended...along with his fellow doctors in the Conroe office! He is personable, humorous, and high energy...everything I desire in my child's doctor!

PS....welcome to the area!

Hi K., like you I am willing to drive the extra mile so I drive all the way to 1960 and I45 from Magnolia. I used Dr. Douglas Lacour and he is associated with Texas Childrens Pediatric Associates and his phone number is ###-###-####. He is in an office with numerous other doctors but I choose to see only him if I can. When my son was 11 mo, he is now 8 1/2, he had bacterial infection in his eye. Dr. Lacour was the only doctor that was available and we were used to going over to the Cypresswood office location but we had to do what we had to do. To make a long story short, my son's eye was so bad that the Dr. stopped my husband in the hallway to look at it right then and told him he would be next. After this visit we have been to see only him unless we were unable to get in on a certain day, then we see Dr. Worral over off of Louetta and Grant, but normally I just ask for Dr. Lacours nurse to call me back and then they will fit me in for that day!! I couldn't ask for a better doctor and the fact that they are affiliated with TX Children's Hospital makes it all the better. You would have to call and see if they take your insurance but I am sure they would, they take just about everything, including medicade!! Good luck on your search!!!!

I recommend Dr. Flannigan in the Woodlands (Tx Pediatric Associates). I live in Montgomery also and have gone through 2 different pediatricians for my son in 1 year. I think Dr. Flannigan is the best fit for our family. Best of luck to you.

Dr. Bhakta at Texas Children's Pediatric Associates in the Woodlands. Would not go anywhere else. He is a excellent doc, and recommended highly by many nurses and Doctor's we know. My daughter has a very rare Genetic metabolic disorder, and was diagnosed via a newborn screen. Hardly anyone knows what to do for it, but there are 2 specialists at Texas Children's for it. Of course Dr. Bhakta being a Texas Children's doc got us right in. When we went to see the genetic docs they said that the preliminary tests that he ordered and the job he did taking care of our DD before we saw them was AMAZING! He went above and beyond they said. He still does for her always calling them and working closely with them. The thing that sets him apart is that anytime I call and have a question he always calls us at home at lunch or by the end of the day. Never forgets. When our first daughter(does not have metabolic condition) was really sick he called like 4 times to check on her in the evening. Now what doc does that? Plus he is super nice, and my DD loves him!

My son sees Dr. Schulte at Huntsville Pediatric and Adult Medicine. She was in Conroe and moved to Huntsville. She is worth the drive.
