I am relatively new to the area and was wondering if someone could recomend a pediatrician in the Antelope/Roseville area that accepts HealthNet. I am curently with The Greater Sacramento Area Pediatrics and I'm less than satisfied with them. Any advice is appreciated.
We had Dr. Fern Takemoto with Mercy Health (near Mercy San Juan Hospital) for a couple years before switching back to Kaiser. She was great! Board certified in pediatrics, so very knowledgeable. Very petite, non-threatening to kids and just wonderful to talk to as a parent. I'm not certain about which medical plans she takes, but we had a strange local plan and she accepted it, so I think she takes a range of plans.

I would reccomend Dr Bannister at the Children's Medical Clinic in Roseville. His office is located on Sunrise near the intersection of Sunrise and Cirby. I don't know if they accept your insurance but it is worth a try!
I take my Daughter to Dr Trude at Sutter Roseville Pediatrics. The phone# was mentioned in a previous post. All of the dr's I have met there have been great!! (I have gone in on a few saturdays and you get to see whoever is there that day)
Dr. William Warden - or Sutter Pediatrics - I have been to most if not all PA and Dr's in this group and would highly recommend any of them. I rally like them.
Another suggestion - my mom is a nurse for the hospital and says that after a certain age - boys may feel more comfortable with male doctors and girls will probably feel more comfortable with female doctors. So if you may need to find more than one dr for each of them.
