I also live in Edgewater and am a mother of a 2 year old. Our doctor is Dr.Cabrera from Austin Street Pediatrics in Evanston. He is very gentle with kids and the nurses are very nice and obliging. It is not even a 10 minute ride away and located in the office buildings of St. Francis.(straight up on Ridge) He is affiliated with St.Francis and Evanston Northwestern Hospital. We have been taking our son there since he was born and are very happy with him.

Town and Country Pediatrics has an office on Lincoln and Devon which is pretty close to you. I live in Rogers Park and that's where we've taken our 3.5 year old and 8 month old since they were born. I adore Dr. Anne Wyman the most, but everyone else is superb too (although i have found Dr. Holmes to be curt and condescending on the phone, so i never make appts with her.) Every day between 9-10 you can call in to ask questions to a doctor which is a nice bonus. Good luck.

We really love Dr. Patel and the entire Illinois Masonic Family Practice. She is a Family Physician, not a Pediatrician, and she has a wonderful holistic approach to medicine that we love. We've also seen other doctors at the office and have liked all of them. There's a developmental specialist on staff too, which is great. The office is at Lawrence and Ravenswood. There's a nice big parking lot.

I am not exactly sure where edgewater is because we have only been here since august, but our pediatrician is "Dr. Andy" Bernstein at North Suburban Pediatrics in Evanston. He is awesome, I know he has a lot of patients so if you can't get him there are a bunch of other dr.'s at the office and they all seem nice. good luck.

I live in Edgewater as well and we go to Dr. Jo-Ann Ruiz, Lincoln Pediatric Center, 5711 N Lincoln Avenue. ###-###-####.

I absolutly love her and she takes almost any insurance plan. We have been going there for 3 years and she always listens to us and is great with the kids.

It is always busy because she speaks spanish a lot of the hispanic community goes to her, but I have always been able to bring her in last minute when needed. She is affiliated with IL Masonic.
