We love the dental salon in lincoln park. It is in the same building as crunch gym and califonia pizza kitchen. Check out the website. Teh place is spa like with ipods and great magazines. wrapped up in a down to earth, practical guy...who is also
somewhat of a jock. Rides his bike to work every day, regardless of the season or weather.

The head of the practice (Gilleran) has two sets of twins (boy/girl) so totally gets being a mom. They let you choose music to listen to when you get there and will even offer you a parafin hand treatment while you're having dental work done. The other dentist in the group is also wonderful. Check them out...

It is right by Oprah's studio and I know she has gone to him a few times (he's had to close his entire office for her)

We've been seeing him for 5yrs now and he just had his first baby in July.

A., I am not sure if this is too far for you, but I have had the same dentist for at least 20 years. My sons have gone there since my oldest was 6 and the youngest 3; now they are 25 and 22. Dr. F. I go to Illinois Center Dental Associates. My dentist is Phillip Finkiel and I really like him. I have had terrible teeth for years and have not had cavities in the 6 years I've been seeing him. He's in the Illinois Center (Michigan and Wacker).

We love Dr. William Simon at City-Smile-Care...3800 North Pulaski, Chicago...###-###-####...He is personable, the people are nice, the office is new and clean. You could take your kids and he could see you, too!

I like Dr. Patel at Northwestern -- she is HONEST and smart -- she doesn't tell you that you need lots of dental work (cavities, etc...) when you actually do not!!

We LOVE Dr. Frank Shaw. He's not downtown but he's in Lincoln Park at 2551 N Clark Street, north of Fullerton a few blocks. Been seeing him for years. Nice small office but not impossible to get an appointment. The dental technicians are great--gentle but thorough and they remember your name.
