Another recommendation for Advocate Illinois Masonic Ravenswood - we see Dr. Rowland. She's a family practice doc, not a pediatrician, but she's the new mom of twins and very supportive and relaxed. I highly recommend her!

Hi there, we go to the family practice clinic at Ravenswood and Wilson. It is called "Advocate Illinois Masonic Family Practice Center" I think. I love it there! Everyone is very nice, it's usually very easy to make an appointment, get someone on the phone for advice, and they have a walk-in clinic everyday, plus other things like free classes. Our doctor is Dr. Weissberger, but she is very popular and booked well in advance, another popular guy there (with whom I had an appointment once) is Dr. Crotteau. But I've seen other doctors there and they are all fantastic--especially the residents. It is a "family practice" so I don't know if they are specifically pediatricians, but so far I think they are awesome.

We love our doctor, and her partner is good too. The office staff (nurses, etc.) are okay, but the docs are great. Northside Pediatrics - Dr. Quinones (our doc) and Dr. Morse (her partner). They are at Pulaski and Foster and the number is ###-###-####.

Dr. Ochs (pronounced oaks) and Dr. Oleynikov (I think that's how you spell it) are really really good but only problem with that is Dr. Ochs is usually booked way in advance. You can usually find an appt. with Dr. Oleynikov and what I love about her is she is very thorough and doesn't mind explaining everything in detail to you. Dr. Ochs has been my daughter's doctor for the last 5 yrs but recently we've had to see Dr. Oleynikov for walk ins which they have every morning M-S from 8-9 . She is often avail for appts a lot sooner than Dr. Ochs as well. Ravenswood Medical ###-###-#### (Damen/Wilson)

We love Dr Fred Ettner in Evanston at St Francis hospital. He does alternative vaccination schedules if you like. He's been in this kid biz for about 30 years! Always answers his phone after hours and has helped us a lot this first year.

I've also heard great things about Dr. R Minkus in Lincolnwood from friends...he's who we would likely switch to if we had a reason. (he comes up on Google)

We see Dr. Paul Martin with Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group. They just moved into a new office in the REI building off of Clybourn and Halsted and validate parking so it is $2 for a visit. Both my 2 year old and almost 5 year old enjoy going to him. He is very laid back and makes the kids laugh which is nice.

We go to Advocate Illinois Masonic Family Practice Center at Ravenswood and Wilson. I've been very happy with them. We've seen a few doctors and I think my favorite is Dr. Merok. He's very good.

We see Dr Lyons at Children's Healthcare Associates. I absolutely love him! He's so nice and patient with all of my crazy questions. He calls you back right away too. A lot of my friends see him as well. If he's not accepting new patients I also really like Drs Monroe and Slivnik out of that group. Everyone is nice, but that would be my order in favorites after Lyons. The only one I didn't care for was Dr Rosenberg. There is also a new person there named Donohoe who came from another practice that people seem to really like.
Good luck!

Town and Country has an office right at Lincoln and Devon, very easy to get to from your area. I like them because they have a lot of choices for doctors. You can easily find one that fits your personality. I see Dr. Holmes, she is a little more relaxed and very sweet. The Lincoln office number is ###-###-####.

I love our peds at Lakeview Pediatrics. We love Dr. Perlman, but all docs we've seen are great. Only doc we haven't seen is Salem. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Meryl Perlman. Located at Belmont, Ashland and Lincoln.
