We are new to Midlothian and are looking for a good peditrician (or family practicioner). Also my 3 year old has an IgA deficiency and in Michigan saw an immunoligist (who also specailizes in allegies) and a pulminoligist, and ears nose and throat specailist. We were told to check with the children's pavillion but we don't how good they are. If anyone has any suggestions we would really appreciate them.

What can I do next?

Capital Pediatrics, Monette Wood or Sally Didio ###-###-####.
I love them - we have been patients there for about the past 16 years or so - my kids love them both. They are right at Robious and Huguenot Rd. so it sounds like you are close to them.
Call if you have questions.

Dr. Roxanna Bantle at Swift Creek Pediatrics (located in the St. Francis Medical Center Medical Office Building) is fantastic! She is young and energetic and so personable. She is also a mother. I began taking my two children (ages 2.75 years and 16 months) to her when the youngest was two months old. We had repeated negative experiences with Pediatric Associates located in that same building and just moved on up to the 5th floor and couldn't be happier with the quality of treatment, their ability to stay on schedule, and the kindness of the staff. We have also seen Dr. Cantor there once and liked her as well. Their number is ###-###-####. Good luck!

John Zachary with James River Pediatrics is a fabulous pediatrician (I am actually also a former patient of his). Also as a nurse at the VCU Medical Center (which the children's pavilion is a part of), I can tell you that you should definitely check there. They have pediatric specialists and any pediatrician who is worth their pay will refer you there. Good luck and welcome to the area.

I take my little ones to Pediatric Associates. They have two offices. One located close to Chippenham Hospitatl off of Hi-Oaks, and the other office is located by St. Francis Hospital. My kids see Dr. O'neil. All of the doctors are great, but of course I feel he's the best. I have been going to this office for seven years. I really love them. They have a excellend nurse, that gives you advice instantly throughout the day. She handles all of the concerns that mothers have, she then passes them to the doctor if need be. They also have Saturday sick appt hours. Again I love them. Their number is ###-###-####.

Huguenot Pediatrics on Huguenot Road, just behind Chesterfield Towne Cetner ###-###-####. I love all the doctors, nurse practioners and staff. We see Dr. Grossberg most of the time but they all are wonderful. We have been going there for 14 years. My daughter has cerebral palsy and they are very good about recommending any specialist we need.
