We also use Dr. Jay Schwartz at Collin County Pediatrics. He moved to Frisco last summer from the town that we lived in, and we moved in the fall. We have used him for almost 5 years, he was our ped in our old town, too. We were so excited that we ended up moving here so we could keep him as our ped. He is awesome with the kids, having 3 of his own that are still young. He is easy for them (and us) to talk to and is very patient. He also understands, from a parent's perspective, when the kiddos are sick. They are good about getting same-day appts. and their office is easy to get to.

We love Dr. Susan Sickler with Willow Bend Pediatrics. Her office staff is great and they have Saturday hours. They are located in Plano off the tollway and Windhaven.

I think it was one of the first responses you received that recommended Dr. Guetersloh with Centennial Pediatrics...have several "Dr." friends that recommended him as well...we were very happy with him and the other 2 dr. in that practice. We had to move b/c we moved. Good luck!

Hi H., I have used Dr. Ramirez for 18 years now. My kids(18, 16 & 11) are very comfortable with him. He is patient and never rushes through your appointment. i don't know the best pediatrician for your child but the place i would ask is called "cute kids" in both the plano and frisco area. gary gerlacher is the pediatrician there. he's amazing. cute kids is an after hours emergency care place for children only. they would give you the best recommendations.

Dr. deVilleneuve at North Dallas Pediatrics is great. They have a Plano and Frisco office.

I would recommend Dr. Anna Gomez or Dr. Ramirez.
They are wife/husband and they share an office inside Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. Their practice is called Kids Docs. I have been taking my 3 children to Dr. Gomez for the past 8 years. We have also seen Dr. Ramirez a few times. They are both really good and the office staff and nurses are very friendly. Their number is ###-###-####.

I have been going to Dr. Sickler at Willow Bend Pediatrics for 5 years now and she is absolutely wonderful. She takes the time to ask questions and answer any questions you have. Also the office staff is very friendly as I do call the nurse line they have to ask questions that I don't necessarily need an appointment for. Anyway, the number is ###-###-####.

Dr. Scott Katz is wonderful our children love him, he is easy to talk to and he actually listens and responds to your concerns. ###-###-#### he is at 15th and Coit right across from the hospital.

Dr. Ron Blair is at Medical City Dallas on Forest in Dallas. However, he is moving part of his practice to Presb Plano in July and looking for referrals for when he moves. I love him to death and me two daughter ages 6 & 4 just love him. He was there at the birth of my first daughter who had to be admitted to the NIC Unit for 8 days. I don't know what I would have done if he hadn't been their. I started crying and he was warm, compassionate and has such wonderful bedside manners. His staff gets a A++++++ as well.

I would second the Dr Goebel...I was actually surprised to not see his partner Dr Berkowitz on this list. All of my friends that have had babies at Presby of Plano, their OBGYN suggested Dr Berkowitz...he saw my daughter when she was born and was great...he is hard to get in with so that is why I went with Goebel...I actually started with Dr Marcy Berry as one person suggested b/c she was so close to my house...she isokay, but I thought the office staff was so unprofessional..at Dr Goebel's office you are always treated very well, the staff is organized, and you don't have to wait very long. The office environment is completely more professional than Dr Berry's.

We use Jenelle Wong with Pediatric Specialists of Plano at Midway and Parker (across the street from Plano Presby in the Le Peep parking lot). We love all the doctors in that office. Other perks: easy parking, easy to get an appointment... ###-###-#### They have taken care of my youngest 2 children since birth (my youngest is 6 months), and I can't say enough good things about them. North Dallas Pediatrics have offices in Plano (15th St near Coit)and Frisco (Hillcrest & Lebanon). I like them since I can get in immediately when my children are sick and also the nurses/doctors are really great with special needs children (my oldest child). The After Hours Pediatrics are wonderful for after 5 pm and weekends. They are located in Plano on Independence and Legacy. Good luck and Congratulations!!

I take my son to Dr. Sickler at Willow Bend Pediatrics at the corner of Communications and Windhaven in Plano. I really like the office and all of the staff and especially Dr. Sickler. I've seen 2 of the other doctors in the practice as well and they're wonderful.

We love Dr. Charles Goebel. He is on the northwest corner of Parker and Midway and is in the offices of Pediatric Specialists of Plano. His office number is ###-###-####. He sees our 7 1/2 year old daughter and 3 3/4 year old son. He is great at explaining things to me and the kids enjoy their visits with him. We have been using his practice since we moved here in 2002.

I am a nurse at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and I at times work in the newborn nursery and love this practice. All 3 of the doctors are great. I just had my first child and I use Dr Guetersloh for my son and can not say enough good things about him.

Dr. Bain was recommended to me by a co-worker whos wife is a labor/delivery nurse at Presby Plano. We really like her!! She doesn't just hop the kids up on antibiotics or do uneccessary things unless she thinks it's really warranted to do so.

I agree with Meg. Dr. Merchant is by far the best around. We drive 20 miles to see her. She's seen my son since he was born and is just as amazing with him at 7 as she was the day he was born.
