Seeking Inexpensive Twin Mattress

Check craigslist if you you don't mind used - probably best for a young child :) People often sell them super cheap because it is easier than trashing them when they get new beds. You may even want to check freecycle as a lot of people give away mattresses. I gave one away there a few months ago.

We just bought our son one for $200 at The Roomstore. There's a store in Denton on McKinney St. Called Al's Furniture. They sell cheap mattresses but some are made out of that stuff called crazy quilt. You can get one for less than $100. There number is ###-###-####. Addy 1131 E. McKinney

I would try Sams or costco. Sometimes some of the mattress stores have good sales, but so far Sams has been the most cost effective that Ive seen.

We just purchased a full size for my daugther at Matress Firm. I looked at twin size because I thought that was what I was going to get her, but decided on the full. You can pick one up for probably $400.00 including the box spring. I did look at Sam's and Costco they are much better deal, but you can only choose from a few brands and styles.

Big Lots gets the overstock from mattress companies and have very good prices.

hi K., we have found the best deals and most comfortable mattresses at ikea! we were surprised at how comfortable they were for the low prices, but i have terrible back problems and wake up pain free most mornings after getting their mattresses.
