I used to use a dentist at the Dental Salon on North Ave. but am questioning the quality of his work. I recently had a root canal but am still feeling pain around that tooth. It's been 2 months and I've had the tooth adjusted, but to no avail, I'm still in pain. I'm wondering how I could feel pain if I have no nerves there anymore. Hence my relucence on going back.
Is there anyone out there who LOVES their dentist enough to refer them to others? If so, I'd appreciate it and if you could include if you had similar work done and how the outcome was.

We absolutely love our dentist, but I'm not sure if he's in a convenient location for you. He's in Harwood Heights, not too far off the Kennedy on Harlem, and his name is Dr. Stipak. We live in Lincoln Park and have no problem making the 20-30 minute trek to his office he's so great.

We've seen all three dentists in the practice, and they're all wonderful. We've had all kinds of work done, and their work is impecable.
We were originally referred to Dr. Moran by the president of the company where I worked. She insisted that Dr. Moran was the absolute best dentist in the city. It's true! She's amazing- I was such a fearful dental patient until I started seeing her, now I'm cured!
The entire staff is so personal that we feel like family - they have been so excited about our new son! I really can't say enough about this practice. We've referred a number of friends who have all been thrilled. I'm sure you'd love it there!

i have had the same problem with my root canels! i just ended getting 3 of my teeth pulled because i let the pain go on too long. they said it was because the tooth cracked from the root canel. now i have to get 3 implants put in for 3,000 a tooth.
it makes me sick!!!

I love my dentist of over 20 years started seeing him when I was about 10 yrs old. He is so sensitive to his patients needs, I think he's the best I've recommended him to many friends & family and everyone seems very pleased. I've tried other dentist through out the years because of insurance reasons but always came back. He use to have his office in the loop & just recently moved to the Northside of the city. Michael E. I am completely impressed with my dentist - Dr Trinkman at East Village Dental. My dad accidentally broke a crown when he was in town over Thanksgiving. East Village got him in that morning and did a "temporary" fix for him. When he got home he saw his regular dentist who said that the job was so good he didn't need to do anything else to it. They do a great job and Dr. Trinkman tends to keep up with the new technology that is available.
If you go, let them know that K. recommended them.

Dr. Bennet is the most amazing dentist I've ever had and I say that having been one of those kids that had 8 years of braces, etc. Dr. Bennet did a root canal on me as well as a porcelain cap and some replacement fillings. He is honest, upfront, and always very concerned for your experience as a patient. His staff if friendly (they always remember my name, whether they're looking at my chart or not!) and everyone takes the time to make you feel comfortable and at ease.
I can't reccomend Lakeshore Dental highly enough. They are wonderful. And, his office never smells like "The Dentists", which rates pretty high in my book!

I use Dr. Jeffry Feffer on Diversy and Clark. I have had several root canals and crowns done and will have 4 implants done later this year. He is thorough and excellent. he has callled me at home in the evening to consult. Dr. Feffer has also recommended me to an excellent doctor to do the extensive root canals- and I couldn't be happier with his referrals. He recommended an oral surgeon that I went to for a consult, didn't like and then Dr. Feffer recommended someone else. He is a professional and you will be satisfied. ###-###-####. good luck.
