I'm thinking about signing my 2 yr old daughter up for a tots dance or gymnastics class. Does anyone have suggestions for a place in the Plainfield area? Thanks for your help!
GYMQUEST OF PLAINFIELD. It is right off of rt. 30 and Van Dyke. My girls love it and have been participating since age 2. They also have dance, but we have always used INSPIRE. They have a "twinkle twos" class. They are located at rt 59 and 111th.
I don't know how far Oswego is for you but both my girls go to Dance With Flair and she is awesome!!!!!!! Angela does all the teaching herself, she really gets to know the kids and they most definetly have fun....

Try Ida (Illinois Dance Academy). My daughter who is now 4, Her name is Samantha started when she was 2. They really take the time with each student. At that age it is all about fun, taking small steps to go in a "dance room" w/out a parent and feel safe. This is what they do. NEVER EVER have I seen frustration with the lil ones. After 2 years there you really start seeing so much on how kids my act or react. You will see so many positive changes and mile stones. Call them and ask if you can view a class. Joliet park district has a class called "terrible tu-tu's", looks cute! Check out their schedule online, classes start up again in Nov.
check your YMCA - the Fieldhouse Center in Naperville has a 2 year old ballet class. I know new classes start this coming Monday at this site but the Plainfield Y may have other classes too.
Try Gymquest in Plainfield. They have a lot of great programs there.

You can check out GymQuest (off of Van Dyke) for that stuff too. Their registration just opened for the next session so you should be able to get into a class. I have had daycare kids start there that young and really like it. My kids (6 and 9 yrs old) are starting for the first time next month.
