I have heard great things about teaching babies sign language and would like to get started with my 6 month old. Does anyone know of any classes in the Lutz/North Tampa/surrounding area?

What can I do next?

Check your local library. All libraries I have checked have baby sign language. Not only are they fun and interactive, the best part is it's free! Good luck!

They offer Baby Sign Language classes at Gymboree. You can contact the individual Gymboree locations (there is one in Carrollwood and one in Lutz on 54) or go to the website at http://www.gymboree.com for more information. I believe I have also seen free classes offered at the Public library or some place similar. If I remember where else I have seen the Baby Sign classes, I will let you know. I also taught my daughter sign and it really helped her communicate with my husband and me before she was really able to speak. Good luck!
