anyone know of a class on baby sign language in the area? when i was pregnant, our local Y in Audubon offered it for 6+ month olds but i was disappointed when i looked at their new program guide and they do not offer it anymore.

i got a book on it but i kinda wanted to check out a class too.

What can I do next?

Hi!

My sister has her own Business called Sign out Loud. It is a sign language class for parents, babies and siblings.
Here is the website

http://signoutloud.net:85/signoutloud/

She currently has three teachers working under her, and a few different locations. she also teaches classes at local nursery schools and daycares.
The best way to contact her is through phone or her aol email listed on the page.
I hope this helps, and I hope there is a class close enough for you!
thanks

M.

Hi, S.! I don't know if this would be too far for you to go, but Grand View Hospital offers baby sign language classes. Actually, I don't think its really to teach it to the babies, although they were there, too. It's just 2 classes long. But the instructor is very good. Good luck!
