I am looking for a dependable fair priced vet within 10 miles of redford. I am going to be hopefully adopting a couple cats and they will both need shots and to be fixed.
Westland Vet Hospital on Wayne Rd just north of Warren... across from the mall/next to Pizza Hut. When I lived in that area they were the most reasonably priced and the ver nice staff.
Most places charged a office visit fee plus any and all services you received. They didn't. They only hcarged for the services you received... vacinations, tests, etc... but not visit fee.
I take my 2 labs to Jeffrey Animal Hospital at 8 & Middlebelt. They're great and very reasonable.

We use Dearborn Family Pet Care, Dr. Good. She is the best vet I have ever used. We take our cat and dog there and have for several years. My husband also took a dog he used to have there many years ago. She really is wonderful and loves animals. Good luck! -E.

We take our cats to Strong Vet. Hospital on 5 Mile just east of Middlebelt. The first visit will probably be more expensive because they will need to have a doctor's exam, shots etc but after the first visit they only charge us for the shots. Since we only have to take the cats once a year (now that they are adults) it costs $30 or so for the shots. All the doctors and staff are very nice too!!!

Hi R. - I would try the Humane Society in your area. As an alternative (but I am not sure it is within 10 miles of Redford), there is a vet in Birmingham just for cats (The Cat Practice) that everyone raves about. Maybe call there and get their pricing. L. W
