I would highly recommend Patsy Mizeur- ###-###-#### (cell) ###-###-#### (home). She not only has given my kids semi-private lessons a couple of years in a row, but I know she's taught for Lifetime Fitness and just this week, my 4th grader had 3 days of "swim field trips" to the natatorium, and Patsy was there, teaching the 4th Graders. She's GREAT with the kids! (She also works at the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch each fall, helping direct families). I don't remember exactly how much she cost (we took lessons 2 summers in a row, 2-3 years ago.

Suggestion: Several of the families in my daughters' playgroup had pools. We scheduled Patsy for an hour a week, for the summer, rotating between 3 pools. We broke the kids up into 2 groups of 3-4 kids each, One group took the first half hour, the other the second half hour. That meant that the 3-4 families (with 2 kids each) split the fees, making it VERY affordable. Just an idea, if that's an option for you.

Good Luck!

Shari Withey of Progressive Aquatics is great! Three years ago I had a 6 year old who still didn't know how to swim and a 2 1/2 year old who wouldn't learn. She got them swimming (diving underwater even) after 1 week! It was awesome.
Since then I've taken my kids back to her every summer for a refresher course.

Her number is ###-###-####

She usually teaches out of the Denton Area.

Pam Holtman comes very highly recommended in The Colony. She has taught at The Aquatic Center here for years, and also Prince of Peace, private lessons, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, etc. Very reasonable on price, I know families that go back to her each year for refresher/advanced lessons. Her number is ###-###-####.

Contact the CFBISD or the LISD Natatoriums. Sometimes they have connections.
