My husbands birthday is coming up in March and I would love to find a photographer that would photograph me at their studio. I believe what I'm looking for is called bordeaux photography. Romantic but not trashy! I have never done this before and am very nervous so I think a female photographer would be best. I've had 3 kids yet my husband is always telling me how beautiful I am and how attracted he is to me even on my ugliest of days. I certainly don't see what he sees as I am out of shape and about 20 lbs heavier than I'd like, but I know he would appreciate something like this so much. Can anyone recommend a nice, genuine, energetic female photographer?

I do a Valentine Special every year starting in January. You would definitely have it by his bday in March. I do it out of my home, or if your hubby and kids are gone, I can set up studio in your home. For $75 you get 3 outfit changes and up to 2 hours on your shoot and a free 8x10. I have a stylist and makeup artist also if you'd like for an additional, but affordable, cost. I retouch ALL the photos at no extra cost. If you'd like to see some of the boudoir I've done, send me your email and I will share them with you as I have not posted them on my site. I will also include before and after shots of retouches so you can see for yourself how wonderful those subtle changes are ;o)

Call Brides for Brides Photography (www.bridesforbrides.com). They were our wedding photographers and I loved them so much! They also specialize in Boudoir photography in their private studio in Phoenix. I had them do nudes when I was 9 months pregnant and the photographs turned out beautifully. They're wonderful women, reasonably priced and they send you a CD with all the good pictures. Since you own the photographs, you can print them at home or where ever, or have them print them in a book for your husband.

I know of a wonderful photographer who does our family pictures just about every year. I absolutely love what she does!! She does intimate photography which is exactly what you described...romantic not trashy. You can view her work at www.breezystudios.com. I had the sae type of pics done in August. I used a photographer named Mimi. She was great. I was nervous as well so my first shoot pics were ok but she thought I could do better and did them again for no charge. The second ones were a thousand times better. We also had her come to our home and do family Christmas photos. She charges $225 and you get a full cd of all the pics with touchups. You have all rights to the pics so you can get as many as you want printed anywhere. She will get prints for you from a place in Tempe if you want.
