I'm also a stay at home mom of a 2 year old, Hannah. We however, live in Auburn. We get around a bit because we also enjoy being outside. There is a great network of other moms, perhaps some might be closer than we are...its called the Mid Maine Moms. Everyone in the group is fantastic and although we don't see folks much, the group is up to something every week. Also, you might check with your local library. The Auburn Library is great. They have a totally separate kids area and also they have story times and other kid programs....
Those are a few suggestions to hopefully get you started!! We hope you enjoy staying home.
