My days also go by super fast! I always laugh when my working friends ask me what I do all day, and tell them that I have no trouble staying busy! I have two children, ages 3 years and 11 months. I get up at 6am to feed the baby and put him back to sleep, then I enjoy 1 - 1.5 hours before my older son wakes up to get dressed, do email, etc. Then from 7:30 - 9:30, I'm feeding the boys, getting them dressed, and then doing housework while they entertain themselves/each other. From 9:30 - 11:30 we are out somewhere (grocery, park, library, playgroup, etc.). 11:30 - 12:00, the baby sleeps and I play with my older son. 12 - 1 is lunch (including cooking and cleanup). 1-2 is play, reading stories and putting the boys down for nap. During nap I exercise and do housework. The boys start waking up around 3:30. From 3:30 - 5 ish, we play some and I do some housework / cooking. Then around 5 we go outside to the park if its nice or play inside if its not until dinner at 6:30. After dinner, I clean up quickly, then its baths, stories, a little more play for my older son, and sleep. The baby goes to sleep about 8:15 and my older son at 8:45. And I get to enjoy a little adult time. Anyhow, that's how our days go ... nothing major happens, but it goes quickly.

Just enjoy your day with your little one. I really miss those times when it was just me and my daughter. Now I have two kids, and my daughter is almost four so things just become so much more complicated, busy and hectic! Of course I wouldn't trade my two kiddos for anything!!! It's just not the same as it was when she was little and we had the whole day ahead of us.
