Take a look at the back of your driver's license. There is a number for road side assiistance. Has anyone every called the number? Did a live person answer it? Did it take very long for someone to get there?
Thank you,
S.

Hi S.,
We did call the number when the tire blew out on our camper trailer. It was during rush hour so it was about 30min before help arrived. My husband had pulled over to the inside lane so we were out of the traffic, but it was too dangerous for us or the crew to change the tire with that heavy of traffic. A police officer also came to see that we were not going to try to change the tire and cause an accident in the lane next to us. We abandoned the trailer for a couple hours until the traffic was much less, then my husband changed it. There was no charge for the assistance. I know of people who ran out of gas on the highway and assistance brought a can of gasoline to them. I dont know if there was a charge for that. I would not hesitate to call them again if needed. HTH

Actually I have called the number on the back of the driver's liscense. The call was answered by a live person and I want to say I had a tow truck meet me within 30 minutes. The tow truck driver identified himself and helped me get my car to the location I asked for. I will use this service again if/when the need ever arises.

I have called it. A love person eventually got on the line. Was told it could be an hour or more...good samaritan helped me in the mean time.

I recommend AAA.

A few years back, when the program first started, I forwarded the information to everyone at work. That very evening, a co-worker had a flat & called the number. Within 30 minutes, help arrived and she was on her way shortly after.

I think that I have heard that you can call the number, but you may be charged to have someone come out.
