Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for us. We are moving into the area from Texas and would like to find a house to rent. I have been checking Craigslist but if you know of any other web sites or real estate companies that deal with rental properties. I would love to hear from you.

Check out www.vrbo.com aka Vacation Rental By Owner if you are looking short term rental. I know there are rentals on there for full seasons as well or month by month. We rented a house on the beach in Crystal Beach 2 years ago before Ike it and it totally ROCKED! Best vacation we've ever had! Best of luck to you!

I imagine that most realators deal with rentals as well. Look online, call the local government/chamber of commerce offcie and see if they have suggestions. That should work.

Realtors generally don't deal with residential rentals, but if you call local real estate offices, they could probably direct you to a leasing company. Or you could try leasing companies in phone books from those areas. Driving around in the area you want to live in is always good, but figuring that out may be tough for someone who's new.
Sent you a personal message with our landlords email, she rents several houses in the plaza area (we live in one).
