Hey, does anybody have a pizza dough recipe they would like to share? Or any recipe for that matter. I'm looking for some new ideas to add to my seemingly repetitive menu.

What can I do next?

My kids and I make mini pizzas using biscuit dough.

I get the cheap small cans of biscuits and have the kids roll them out. Then I have the kids top them with a few spoonfuls of pizza sauce and then sprinkle cheddar cheese. Bake until ready.

I have not made this yet but am making it tomorrow.
The exact recipe is from Pioneer Woman

Make meatballs. Brown them and then cook them in marinara sauce. Put one with some sauce and a slice of provolone on a dinner roll and you get mini meat ball subs.

Do you know that you can just buy the uncooked dough from your favorite local pizza place? That's what I do, it's cheap and so much easier :)

If you have a KitchenAid (use dough hook) or a Food Processer this is a very simple recipe. Or you can do it by hand. It makes 1-12" - 14" pizza crust.

1 cup warm water
1 pkg yeast - I use the quick rise kind it works in 1/2 the time as regular yeast
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 - 3 cups all purpose flour. You can use wheat flour also, sometimes I mix about 2/3 all purpose with 1/3 wheat flour and no one knows the difference.

1 cup warm water and 1 package yeast (let it proof) approximately 5 minutes if you use quick rise, about 15 min if you use regular.
Put the olive oil/salt in the bottom of the mixer bowl, put in water/yeast mixture.
Add 2 cups flour and mix approximately 2 minutes. The dough will be sticky. Add 1/2 cup flour and mix and then turn the KitchenAid or food processer up 1 level for about a minute. I then usually take the dough and add a little more flour at a time and knead by hand until it is workable, but not sticky(not enough flour) you can add a little flour or crumbly (too much flour), throw out and start again!
Put a little olive oil (about tablespoon) in the bottom of the bowl. Roll the dough in it to coat. Put a dishtowel over the bowl and set in a non drafty area. I usually will put the oven on 200 and set the bowl on top of the cooktop. The warmth helps the dough rise. Let it rise 1/2 hour and then punch it down. Let it sit for about 5 min. I usually sprinkle a little cornmeal on my pan to make the bottom a little crunchy. Work the dough out from the center of the pan using the heal of your hand so it doesn't tear. Put your toppings of choice on. Bake in a 425 oven for 12-15 minutes

All my recipes come from allrecipes.com . I ONLY make the recipes that are 4.5 or 5 stars. You can create your own menu and recipe box too all stored online. and I cant voucher for this yet but I just started there "6 meals for under $100". they give you a menu for the week and it costs like $100...that is CHEAP for us so I am hoping to cut cost in our grocery bill by doing that.
However, here is my favorite recipe I have in my little box
CROCKPOT
3lb ribs ( I use baby back pork)
In a bowl mix
4 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup flower
2/3 cup water
1 cup white vinegar
4 tblspn of soy(I estimate and do 4 capfuls)
4 tblspn of katsup (I just estimate and squirt 4 times)
1/2 tspn ground ginger (again I estimate and shake about 6 times)
1/2 tspn garlic powder(I estimate and shake about 6 times)
Mix all until there are no more lumps from the flour. Pour ontop of ribs...cook on low for 10 or 11 hours or on high for 5.5 or 6. I make this before going to work...done by the time I come home from work. I serve with Tadig but buttered minute rice or lipton noodle is good too.

Ours is close to MamaT's, we use the recipe that came with our KitchenAid mixer with some variations:

Warm the bowl first by swirling hot water, then empty. Add 1 cup warm water and 1 package yeast (we HATE pizza yeast--it never works right). Let sit until dissolved.

Add 1 Tablespoon olive oil and a little bit of salt. With dough hook add 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 cups of flour slowly, mixing until dough is elastic. Knead with dough hook for several minutes. Grease bowl for dough to rise in and add dough, turn to coat, then cover with a dish towel and let rise for about an hour. Sometimes I moisten the dish towel with water and then microwave it for a minute to keep gentle heat on the dough if it cold in the house. My husband lets it rise in a metal bowl on the stove so when we preheat the oven it rises better.

Brush olive oil on pizza pan or baking sheet and sprinkle with cornmeal (cornmeal optional). Flatten dough by hand to edges. You can let it rise a bit to make it puffier on the pan if you like. Bake at 450 degrees to desired crispness with melted cheese.

My husband's sauce/topping method:

Simmer 1 can Hunt's tomato sauce with layer of garlic, then slightly less for the layer of oregano, then even less (but still a decent layer) of parsley. Add a generous pinch of sugar and a pinch of salt. He spreads a layer of sauce, then adds pepperoni, then covers in part-skim mozzerella and bakes. After it bakes, he adds another layer of sauce and sprinkles on parmesan. This is one of our favorite meals and is incredibly easy! :)

We're having pizza with homemade crust for dinner tonight. Yum! And it's so much better fresh. Here you go:

Dissolve 1 packet yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and let it proof.
Stir in another full cup of warm water, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp salt and stir.
Gradually mix in about 4 cups of flour. When it gets too tough to mix with a fork, turn it out onto the counter and kneed, mixing in as much flour as you need to keep it from sticking. You should kneed about 8 minutes, ending with a smooth, slightly tacky dough.
Place in an oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap and let it rise for about an hour.
This dough makes 2 large pizzas, or 4 good-sized individual pizzas.

Often I will make the dough the night before, cover it and stick it in the fridge. The next afternoon I take it out about an hour or two before I want to use it and let it come to room temp on the counter. It rises nicely in the fridge and becomes pliable on the counter.

Enjoy!

Fleischmann's makes a pizza specific yeast that saves time and tastes pretty good. I use a Bobby Flay recipe when I make two pizzas - one for adults and one for kids.

Pizza Dough - yields enough for two 14 inch pizzas

3 1/2 to 4 cups bread flour, plus more if needed
1 tsp sugar
1 envelope instant dry yeast
2 tsp kosher salt
1 1/2 cups warm water
2 Tbsp plus 2 tsp olive oil

1. Combine 3 1/2 cups of the flour, sugar, yeast and salt in a food processor; pulse to combine. While processing, add the water and 2 tbsp of the oil until the dough forms a ball. If the ball is sticky, add 1 tbsp of flour at a time and continue processing until it comes together in a solid ball. If the dough is too dry, add 1 tbsp of water at a time. Scrape dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead until smooth. Form into a smooth ball.
2. Grease a large bowl with the remaining 2 tsp of olive oil, add dough, cover with plastic wrap, place in a warm area, and let rise until double in size, about an hour. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and divide into two equal pieces; cover each with a clean kitchen towel and let rest for 10 minutes.
