I'm about to have knee surgery and will go from a super active lifestyle to being on the couch for 5 days solid (YUCK!). I'm going to upgrade my Blockbuster account so I can catch up on my Chick Flicks. Any recommendations for movies that have been released to DVD in the past 6-9 months?
I know this isn't the last 6 months, but if you haven't seen Love Actually, get it. I can watch this movie (and have) over and over!

I can't think of any good chick flicks released that recently.. but if you haven't seen P.S. I love you, that is a good one (real tear jerker).

OK, agreed that if you haven't seen Love Actually, take this opportunity and watch it! Love that movie! Recent chick flicks I would recommend would be He's Just Not That Into You, and ofcourse Mama Mia!

Confessions of a shopaholic
I rented Ten Inch Hero the other day. It's so cute! It's one of those movies that is in the new releases, but only has one or two copies. I watched it with my husband (and he liked it)but he said it would be a great movie for me to watch with my girlfriends.
