I've had a change in plans for the next few weeks and thought it may be fun to catch up on some movie watching. What are some of your favorite movies- new or old.

Some of my oldie favorites- Love Potion #9 (cheesy but I like it), Little Women, and Contact.

Just finished watching Grown Ups with Adam Sander. I am normally not an Adam Sandler fan, but this was a feel good movie that was great. It reminded me a lot about the movie The Big Chill, which was not a funny movie or anything back in the hay day, but I really did enjoy this movie.

Old movie, definely check out Breakfast at Tiffanys, Classic right there.!

Just watched "Something's Gotta Give" yesterday. Maybe it was just the mood I was in, but I seemed to enjoy it alot more than the first 2 times I saw it.

I also like...
Cool Runnings
Titanic (although it's been on tv so much, I'm getting sick of it)
A League of Their Own

My faves are Raising Arizona, Jaws, Goodfellas, Casino, Dazed and Confused, Pulp Fiction, Amelie, The Jerk, Antonia's Line, Immortal Beloved, Saving Private Ryan, American Beauty, Fargo, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Parenthood, UP, The Godfather Trilogy (especially the first two), Shawshank Redemption, Steel Magnolias -I could go on and on! If you haven't seen "The King's Speech" -go see it! Fantastic film! I saw it early on and was absolutely delighted. The new "True Grit" is great! I also enjoyed "The Social Network" a lot more than I anticipated enjoying it. "Little Miss Sunshine" is also great and from the last few years.
