What is the criteria for a question being pulled? I have noticed lately that I'll read a post and then the next day its gone. I assume its becuase it was pulled for whatever reason. Just curious.

What can I do next?

I've spelled this out before and some don't believe me. This site is not 'staffed' per say. It is an internet forum, run by a program and perimeters. There is a set number of 'Report this' clicks that the admins have set up for a question/response to get 'pulled'. It may be 5 it may be 20, it may be 3.. who knows. But once that magic number is hit, you receive the form email stating you've been a flamer etc, and the response or question disappears.

eta: oooh yeah, Jo hit that one right on the head...flaming...when you call someone out and berate them, belittle them, bash them, mock them, etc. yeah...flaming..is HUGE.

Questions are pulled by the site monitors...

1. swearing
2. soliciting a business (like the one the other day - the person who answered the post - both first time posters - posted a business link - it was obvious the guys were trying to sell something).
3. offensive..

there are a lot of reasons why questions get pulled. If someone is offended and they report it - it can be pulled. It's all up to the site monitors.

Click on the Terms & Conditions link at the bottom of the page and read it through.

Some things are open to interpretation but the long and the short of it is -
they can delete what they want anytime they want whether anyone reports it or not.

Personally I am grateful the site is well monitored and kept more or less family friendly.
Other sites that are not monitored get ugly quickly and they lose users because of it.

The adult toy question from last night was pulled, and I see why, since there was some flaming going on in it.

I have had a number of answers pulled. Usually because someone didn't like what I had to say about something near and dear to them.

I take a consumers revenge and don't buy anything advertised on this site.

Good luck to you and yours.

I recently had a very innocent and valid question (what are good birthday party games?) pulled because a troll responded with some awful garbage about me being a terrible mother for throwing a last minute (EARLY) party (because cousins came to town)...and I called her out in my SWH and *I* was the one accused of flaming.

I also had a question pulled once because I asked if anyone had any Nintendo Club points they weren't going to use because my daughter wanted a game and I didn't have enough...apparently, that was soliciting and not allowed.

I think it's hit or miss. I've had my questions pulled when a troll who insulted me was called out.
