Question on Good Eye Doctor in Charlotte, North Carolina

I've been going to Dr. David Ugland at Horizon Eye Care for over 20 years. I have had issues with an auto-immune disorder that can sneak into your eyes, so to speak, and he has always been so wonderful with going the extra mile to make sure all is well. He is also the eye doc to many Panthers, so they trust him with their million dollar bodies.

I use Dr. Marvin at Horizon Eye Care in the Arboretum Shopping Center. He is incredibly personable, and I have always felt very comfortable with him. He is knowledgable of many eye conditions and is good at laying out different options and assisting you in making safe, informed decisions about your eye care.

My son has a wonderful Doctor Dr Francis Story in Lancaster.
We had gone to quite a few Docrtors from when we moved down here. We went to some real winners. My Son has been wearing glasses since age four he is 12 now and we were at Mass eye and ear so we were used to the best. We went to a couple of Doctor that wanted to jump right in a operated on my son before trying anything else. i also just went to Dr story myself having trouble with my eyes and she was great said she didn't want to even put me through a test because I had just give birth and my eyes were going to change. She didn't even charge me for the visit. just said to come back when i finish nursing an for the time just get some glasses at walmart the would help me with my reading told me what strengh to get, My eyes are still going to change from that. I know she is not in Nc but for us it was worth the drive. I hated to put my son into the hands of someone I didn't like. There was also a Doctor in Hunterville that we used he was the Doctor we first used, he was very good he was with mecklenburg eye associated. but i really like Dr Story better.

I had some serious eye conditions last winter and I was going to Horizon Eye care-- I saw so many doctors there in a short time (I had to be seen daily)-- I finally demanded to stay with one doctor. Since I met so many I got to choose and I like Dr. Royce Syraceuse -- I highly recommend his bedside manner and his skills.

I go to Dr. Yvonne Shook. She is a sole practitioner (very rare find these days) and her husband Jim does the eye glass fittings. She is very personable and will answer any and all questions. Her exams are NOT rushed and she will spend as much or little time as you feel comfortable with. My entire family and inlaws go to her and have been for many years. My 4 year old daughter is even comfortable with her.l I can't say enough good things about her! Her number is ###-###-####. Hi, I have been going to Dr. Britt Blackwell in Rock Hill, SC for almost 20 years-- he has been in practice by himself the entire time--very good and just explain to him how you feel-your phobia- and he will adjust himself accordinly to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Blackwell and his entire staff treat you as you and not just a patient. Very up to date on everything!! Hope it helps and not too far from Charlotte. His number is ###-###-####
