I seen the request about bengston, is Siegel's or johansen farms good? I looked up the website they look good. I went to bengston last year want something different
Last year we went to Butterprint farm in Monee, IL.
I don't like Bengston's it is WAY to commercial for me.
This farm has a hay ride to the fields and a barn and a few animals.
The pumpkins were great last year and we went at the end of October.
We are going back this year.

I used to go to Bengston's but they got to expensive. I now for the last 3 years have gone to Sonny Acres Farm in West Chicago, IL. There is no charge to get in. There are more children activities and the cost for pumpkins are great. Let me know what you think.
Hi J., Siegel's is a very nice place to go but it can be pricey. It was $7 a person last year when I took my family of 5. That doesn't include buying the pumpkins, snacks, or the rides they have. That is just to walk in. Their is a pumpkin patch in Morris that is just awsome, but I can't remember the name right now. It is off of I-80 West heading towards Morris. I have no idea where Johansen is?

We've gone to Johansen's the last 4 years and we love it! They have animals you can feed, a little train ride and blow up slide and castle. Our kids are 6,4 & 3 and it's entertaining for all of them. Plus, if you can go during the week it's much less crowded!

We've never been to Siegel's or Johansen's, but we liked Cottonwood Farms better than Bengstons last year. Their web address is their name.....Cottonwoodfarms.com

I have been to Johansen's Farm several times. I usually go every year. It is not that expensive and you can get a coupon from the website. I like it because you don't pay separately for everything. That is how things can get expensive at other places. Don't go after it has rained because it will be muddy.
