/I don't know if anybody knows what the chances are of getting pregnant after a tubal? I kinda regret doing it but had 3 kids at age 21 and i thought i was sure i wanted to do it. I don't have them tied or burned or anything they are clips. Not sure if that is a huge diff or not. It will be 3 years this september. I started what i think is my period but it is much lighter then usual and i have been feeling different. I don't know what it could be. I took a pregnancy test and it said no. took 2 more and said no. so maybe it is just something else but something still feels diff. My periods have always been the same, kinda heavy first couple days then goes down and for the last 2 1/2 years for sure. This one is way lighter and last time i checked more brown then red and like i said light. I also now have been feeling very bloated and seem to have lost somewhat of my apetite. took a blood test yesterday should have results today.. /Any suggestions.

What can I do next?

I know several people who got pregnant with their tubes tied but it isn't common. I reversed my tubal ligation and had 3 more kids. That is a possiblity even if they say it's impossible to reverse it. Good luck to you!

My cousin had a reversal. It took the surgery, healing, and lots of money, but they ended up having twin about 6 months ago. Now her oldest (18 year old) is pregnant! =) Anyway, her body just seems to be made to have children. She handled everything terrifically and is loving those babies.

Good luck!

Nice to see another TR (tubal reversal) patient already chimed in. Tubal failures are fairly uncommon, and can result in ectopic pregnancy, so it isn't something you should hold out for. There are however tons of great doctors out there that will do a reversal. I had my reversal a little over a year ago and we are due in December. There is a wonderful forum full of info and other women who have done this or are trying to if you want to check it out. they also have a list of doctors and prices, as well as the few random insurance companies that cover it.

I regret doing it after my third was born as well. Am 43 now and past having babies.........a year or so ago I had a funny scare....was weeks late for a period....my doctor said if I was pregnant he'd eat his scalpel, tehehe...of course I was not, periods spreading out with hot flashes thrown in for fun! I have read that your tubes eventually separate after being pinched for a number of years. Ask the doc what you can do, good luck!
