I was looking for some feed back regarding ashburn area preschools. Any good/not so good experiences you can share would be appreciated. My son is currently in a day care and I'm not so sure I want to continue his education there. Thanks for any help.

What can I do next?

My daughter has been at Golden Pond for the last few months since we moved to Ashburn. We have been happy with it. I would definately suggest taking a tour if you haven't already. Hope preschool is another one I hear often.
Good luck in your search.

Look into The Boyd School. I've enrolled my son there for summer camp and for the upcoming 2008-09 school year. I've heard so many great things about it. You should do the tour so you can see it for yourself. My son is turning 3 on Friday.

We were very pleased with Golden Pond School. When my daughter was four, she went for "junior kindergarten" as well as a few hours of extended care. When she went to kindergarten at the public school the following year, we continued to send her to Golden Pond for an enrichment program. The teachers and administrators were very good about dealing with her initial anxieties, and she really blossomed as she settled in. The academic program is very creative and age-appropriate.

My daughter goes to Kindercare (formerly Mulberry Childcare and PreSchool) in Railstop Ter in Ashburn Farms, and we absolutely love the place. The staff, particularly in our center, is wonderful. It's a daycare/preschool. My daughter is now in Kindergarten and we still continue to take her to Kindercare for after-school care. Hope this helps!
