Plus Size Nursing Bras and tops...I Can't Find Any!

I get all my maternity clothes from Old Navy and Motherhood. But where do I find good quality nursing bras, tops, and tanks?

I am very large chested so I have not been able to find anything worth a second glance online. Any suggestions?

My last pregnancy I got up to a whopping 44 DDD, yes 44. She is almost 26 months now and no longer nursing and I am finally back down to a saggy 40 DD, haha. So I know that I will have some mega problems finding some good bras since I have problems already.

We go to OP all the time to shop, it is our go to place! It only takes about 1 hour 15 min. to get there, it's not that bad.

What can I do next?

Herroom.com has a really great selection for plus sized bras. If you can't find what you need there, feel free to PM me and I will give you the name of the Medela rep. that I went to in OP. Happy to help!

My only suggestion would be to call the Mommy and Me store here in Merriam. She may be able to give you some ideas. If you call Shawnee Mission Med Center at ###-###-#### and ask to be connected with them. This store is located on the hospital grounds. I know you are Clinton and it is a hour drive or so, but I thought I would mention it!
Good Luck!!!!

Personally, I suspect that Motherhood's nursing tops are a plot by the formula industry to convince people to give up on BFing. Motherwear online has much more attractive stuff.

For bras, I've had great luck at Breakout Bras: http://www.breakoutbras.com/category/Nursing-Bras
Their customer service is excellent!

I second Tori's recommendation that you go to Nordstroms. I hope there is one near you! After I gave birth to my daughter, I was a "40 I" also! They had the nursing bras I needed in stock and were very helpful! Good luck.

I second the suggestion for Bravado bras! I loved mine. Try calling the hospital you gave birth at and they can probably direct you to where the line - or any line exclusively designed for nursing moms - are sold.

I also have a huge chest. I got my nursing bras from the hospital "woman's shop" . They were expensive but worth it. A lactation consultant suggested nursing tanks from Target that I got online. They were super comfy and surprisingly fit well.

I do love my bravado bras, but I've met women who out size bravado, and this is an idea that might work for you...

I've only seen their add in magazines (Mothering), but have recommended them to some nursing women I know.

I had a great experience at Soma for bras both nursing and pre-birth. For nursing tanks, I bought the x-l at target and loved them. Good luck!

Yes, the Mommy and Me store is awesome. I'm not sure if you're willing to drive in for it, but you really might consider it. My other recommendation is to find a Nordstrom's. Do you have one anywhere near you??? I'm very large chested and when I was pregnant I got up to a 40 I, yes I, way past DD, E, F, G, and H!!! :) The nursing bra I got (at Mommy and Me) was made by Bravado. You could always look it up on line and see if you can find one you like. I would not buy a bra from Motherhood. In my experience they have no idea what they are doing in that area, but I did find a nursing nightgown from there and it was nice.
