Playgroups with Friendly Moms????

They have a lot of NW groups and groups are arranged by age and area of Tucson. I was a member for 4 yrs. Now that my girl is in K, there's not much time for.... anything :-)

I am in the same boat as you. My husband and I just moved to Tucson in October. My son was born in January and I am itching to meet other new moms and make friends. There is a group called Tucson Moms, www.tucsonmoms.com. I believe they have a NW group too. You might try them. I am waiting for the 09 group to begin. I am in the NE.

Hi there. Welcome to Tucson! I am in Oro Valley, off of Tangerine. I am a stay at home mom too and we moved here last September. I have a 21 month old little boy. I joined Cafe Mom and fouund a couple of local groups through there with some great local ladies (and kiddos). We do lots of playdates and Mom's night outs. It's a great group, it's helped us out a lot. If you join, look me up!!

Hi B., I just responded to your other post, I would love to invite you to come to MOPS, mothers of preschoolers, but our last meeting is next Tuesday the 4th at 9:30. It would actually be a good one to come to as we usually try and see who is up for play groups over the summer. My youngest is 3 so I guess he is a bit old for yours... Though he loves babies! There are several Moms of younger ones in our group. Also a must do is the libary at shannon and ina for story time with Mr Eddie. Let me know if you would like to come to MOPS ###-###-####. Our MOPS group has been a great resource for me of other Moms who offer advice but don't judge and who offer support and encouragement as well as ideas. we are the smallest MOPS group in the area but this keeps our conversations very real and spontaneous. we also do parenting and marriage studies on occasion. we just prefer to have lots of time for Mom to Mom chats.
