The first thing that came to mind when you said "pink/white candy" was a bunch of the breast cancer m&m's candies! If you can find them at all, they'll be cheaper now.

If that doesn't work for you, get the appropriate colors at any store that sells bulk Jelly Belly jelly beans!

I think the snow globe idea is really creative....maybe put one of the little babies you can get at AC Moore or Party City in there and too.

I think O. nice idea is to allow guests to give a message to the baby--whether it's via a video log or handwritten in a nice journal-type book (just pass it around).
As for games/prizes, you can randomly sticker gifts as they arrive or set an egg timer for 10 minute intervals and if the gift has the sticker or the timer rings, that person gets a prize. Have fun!

For the last shower I attended, they ordered colored m&m's and had the baby's name and its a girl put on them. They ordered them right from thewebsite and they arrived pretty quickly. They were so cute! Just a thought!

I've always found oriental trading has a good selection for items like this or for any type of party. Also, you can go online to M&M's and pick from any color you want and even personalize them with your niece's baby's name. If you are thinking of games, the best game I ever played at a baby shower is the guess what's in the diaper. You soften and mash different types of candy bars (chocolate obviously) into diapers and then the diapers get passed around and the guests have to list which diaper has which candy bar. I thought it was comical to see all these women sniffing diapers!

There is a place on 322 in Harrisburg called Keystone Candle (www.keystonecandle.com) I work there. . .

We would fill the baby jars wth wax and a wick and you have a candle-you can pick scented with colors or even just white. I know we have done this before but I don't know how much it would cost and it also depends on how many you are making. Then add a bow and you've got a cute table decoration that guests can take home.

Specialty candy stores often have bulk candies separated by colors - think skittles, m&ms, jelly beans. Good N Plenty are pink and white and are "black licorice" flavored. The M&M's website allows you to buy candy by the color and also have them personalized with messages. Jelly Belly's website most likely lets you buy certain colors/flavors. Have fun!
