My son's 2 year birthday is next month and I was planning on having it at Peter Piper Pizza, but they closed down apparently (in Plano). So, onto other ideas... I have yet to try PP or G-town, so I was wondering if y'all have and what you think? Who has been to either place and how was it? Anyone have a birthday party there? Was it successful? How clean or unclean is either place? Thanks in advance!

We just had our son's second birthday at The Zone in McKinney. We used the jump area, younger children's arcade and had pizza. We were very impressed with the way it was ran and how it's separate from the rest of the activities, which is great for younger kids!!

If you are considering Planet Pizza remember that some children are scared of the sounds and rides. If it's mostly older kids, then it shouldn't be a problem, but you might find this with the younger ones.

The Wiggly Play Center in Frisco is PERFECT for 2 year olds. They are brand new. Just go the the Website and take a look or go visit it yourself. They have an indoor playground, bounce house, music, little red cars that the kids can ride around in and they have great colorful party rooms. Check them out you will love it!! Their website is: www.wigglyplaycenter.com

Have you considered Animal House Parties? We had my 3 yo's party there and the kids had a blast!! Tons of bounce houses, ride on toys, climbing structures, etc.

Planet Pizza is fun, but a little run-down, at times. Last time we went, several of the rides were out of order and my son was disappointed. You may wish to stop by and check for yourself.

Oh, I am sad to hear that Peter Piper Pizza closed down. We had my son's 3rd B-day party there and was considering it for my son's 2 y/o B-day next month. :-(

Well, i've been to Gattitown for a b-party and it was very hectic, noisey to say the least and I found it hard for the kids to inteact with each other. Now the host didn't reserve a party room, we were all out in the general eating area, so maybe that is why it felt crazy. Also it was a Saturday and there were about 1,000 other parties going on. I havn't been back. Now Wiggley play center just opened in Frisco. Preston and Lebannon. I was also considering this place...D.

My 3 yr old went to a B-day party a couple of weekends ago at Gattitown, my husband said that the pizza is not that great and that the parents HAVE TO PAY $8, wethere they are going to eat or not. It was just a surprise to us, because there was no mention of this on the invitation. I hope this helps some...

Gatti town is really designed for that in-between age: kids too old for chuck e cheese and too young for Dave and Busters. Pizza isnt that great at Planet pizza but my 5 year old loves the rides and soft maze. Been going since she was 3. But really for a 2 yr old party would keep it small. Keep the more expensive parties for a few years from now.
