Places to Sell Motorcycle
I was wondering if anyone knew of any other places to sell a motorcycle. I have listed it on Craigslist, but can't think of any other places to list it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
ETA: It is a 2007 Yamaha VStar Classic 650 with around 8000 miles on it. We are hoping to sell it for $5300. there is nothing wrong with it, we are just looking to get rid of the loan for it. Thanks to all those who have replied already.

Hi A.,
I remember when my husband and I were looking for a bike for me, we looked on craigslist and traderonline.com (the website related to the Auto Trader and Cycle Trader magazines). Hope this helps!

Great names for your kids! Anyway! I have a suggestion that is a bit strange, yet pretty promising. I am in Fort Worth and there is a tattoo shop, among many others, called Elite Tattoo. There is a guy there who is a fanatic about motorcycles. Especially Harley Davidsons. But, there is always a tattoo shop guy that is a fanatic about motorcycles. I know it's weird, but just call them up, tell them what you are selling and they can spread the word like a sewing circle.

Hi A. -
What year is the bike and how many miles does it have? My son owns a motorcycle shop in Kennedale. I will ask him if he is interested. Thanks.

Cars.com is how we sold our car. I am not sure about selling a motorcycle there, but you could check it out.

Try a motorcycle dealership; we sold our gorgeous Goldwing 12 years ago at Two Wheel World in Arlington. With gas prices, I wouldn't be surprised if it's scarfed up easily.

We had great success with an ad in the Star-Telegram--we sold a truck that way, and were getting calls before the print ad even went out b/c it was also on the on-line edition.
