Places to Sell Motorcycle

Great names for your kids! Anyway! I have a suggestion that is a bit strange, yet pretty promising. I am in Fort Worth and there is a tattoo shop, among many others, called Elite Tattoo. There is a guy there who is a fanatic about motorcycles. Especially Harley Davidsons. But, there is always a tattoo shop guy that is a fanatic about motorcycles. I know it's weird, but just call them up, tell them what you are selling and they can spread the word like a sewing circle.

Try a motorcycle dealership; we sold our gorgeous Goldwing 12 years ago at Two Wheel World in Arlington. With gas prices, I wouldn't be surprised if it's scarfed up easily.

We had great success with an ad in the Star-Telegram--we sold a truck that way, and were getting calls before the print ad even went out b/c it was also on the on-line edition.

There is a bar/pub (not sure since I've never been in there) named "Hot Rods & Hogs" off of 360. Every time I drive by it seems as though it is packed out with all types of bikes. You may try to call them or see if they have a website: where bikers gather... bikes may be wanted.
We actually just sold my husbands on Craigslist but we had to re-list it a couple of times since there are so many postings if you leave it up then there are just so many to wade through that people may not even see it. If my hubby wasn't leaving for Iraq soon we wouldn't have sold it since it is a HUGE savings on gas & maintenance. Anyway, hope you guys sell it soon!

I think there is a Motorcycle Trader, just like the AutoTrader mag. You post it in the magazine and it goes online too for a fee.

What kind of motorcycle and how much do you want for it? Does it haev mechanical or cosmetic issues?
