Try 2 tablespoons of white vinegar with 2 cups warm water. Blot at the spot until damp, and then use a clean cloth to absorb the wetness. May have to repeat to lift all the stain.

Try "Totally Toddler" from Wal-Mart or KMart--if they still have it. We have not needed it for awhile, but I used to use it when kids were small. I have also used pet products on people accidents. Good Luck!

If you have, or know someone who has, a carpet cleaner with attatchments use the attatchments and shampoo it with a mild soap and water solution. A little bit of vinegar neutralizes the ammonia in the urine so you won't have any left over odor. I also put a little (tiny) bit of fabric softener in the "brew" so it acts like febreeze and makes it smell better. Then set the cushion aside to air dry. We have had this happen about a zillion times and this seems to work every time.

Hi M.,
We had a cat that had a bladder infection that peed on one of our couches. Those of you with cat's know how bad it smells. We used Natures Miracle that you can buy at PetSmart. We had to let it dry between applications and put it on a couple of times but it got the smell out.
I would try it.
Good luck!

Distilled vinager will take out the smell of urine. Great for clothes that have been peed in too.

Hi M.....try "Simple Solution" from the pet store.
It is designed for pet stains/odors, but has worked for me on children's accidents as well. Good luck!

There is a good product on the market called Urine Gone. It worked well with cat urine the first time.

Carpet cleaner "RESOLVE" Spray works (its the foam kind), use that scrub it in deeply after it sits for 15minuts. Than dry it with vacuum cleaner and than spray it with the carpet foam spray "THE FRESHENER"!! We had problems like that when my sisters kids would stay over, also our female cat would pee on our coach. Not any longer do we have problems with the stench. Good Luck!

Most Pet stores carry 'Miracle Pet'. Saturate with Miracle pet and allow to completely dry. It's been awhile since I've had to buy it, but it was in a white bottle with red writing. I have tried the off brands, but they do not work as well especially on stains. Best Wishes!
