hi~
I'm looking around for a pediatrician in Cincinnati area (around the top of the 275 loop, West Chester, mason, liberty township area) I am willing to travel to see a pediatrician that I love. I am looking for someone who is willing to listen and talk with us, supportive of a more “green” approach to raising my dd (e.g. organic formula/foods, etc), work with me on an alternative vaccine schedule (yes I will get the vaccines just spread out as opposed to 6-8 in one visit) and good bedside manner would be a bonus.

THANKS!

What can I do next?

We use Dr. Jeff Drasnin with ESD Peds. We use his Hyde Park Office, but he also has an office in Milford, which shouldn't be too far for you. A lot of the AP moms use him, and we like him a lot. He takes his time to explain to both me and my husband. He'll say something, and then I will tell him, now you need to say it again to my husband (who is usually entertaining our son whenever something important is being discussed, so I take over so he can concentrate on what we need know.) He is always fine with that.

I am happy to recommend my pediatrician, but we live in NKY, so it would be quite a drive for you. Send me a private message if you don't get any good recommendations from anyone else, but I hope you'll be able to find someone closer to your home.

I use Cindy cook at north east peds, I love her. We are green and did an alternate vac schedule. I think it is much more common now and more accepted. Pierre Manfroy is also there and I really like him too. There is also a female doc at mason peds, can't remember her name but I think it started with a D. She was our first ped at NE before she changed to mason and I really liked her too. Hope this helps!

I live in NKY and go to pediatric associates. Their one doc (Dr Bosley) is sooo wonderful. Actually ALL the docs are great but I personally like Dr Bosley the most HOWEVER I honestly think you cant go wrong with any doc that is associated with Childrens. If you go to there Service area and ask about the doc offiliated with the 'green' approach, they can recommend some docs in your area....I mean come on West Chester has ALOT of green peeps.
good luck

Rosy Thind at Group Health in Finneytown. She is great. Very willing to listen, and the kids adore her. It would be at least a 20-30 minute drive though....
