Although we don't use them any longer (only because with 3 boys it was too far to go)...I'd highly recommend Kids First in West Chester (specifically Dr. Fendrick). We went there for about 11 years and never had any problems and were always very pleased. Hope this helps! :)

I love all the peds at Kids First of North Hills. What is nice is they are also linked with CHOP. I am new to the area and have a 2 year old with a genetic disorder so it was important for me to find a good ped right away. My son currently sees Dr. Bay but he has seen all the dr.s in the practice at one time or another for emergency appointments.

Hello,
I have another endorsement for Chester County Pediatrics in Downingtown/Exton on Rt. 30. Both my brother and I grew up seeing Dr. Cooper (the head pediatrician), The practice has since grown emensely and has many many pediatricians. I love all of them. I have a 2 year old and a 4 month old and they both go there. They are always available for questions, are understanding and non-judging for mothers who have lots of questions (like me!). I highly recommend them. They work out of Chester County hospital. Their # is ###-###-####. Congrats on the new baby!!!

My absolute recommendation, without a doubt, is Chester County Pediatrics. They are on Rt. 30 between Downingtown and Exton, and are WONDERFUL! They have an excellent office and nursing staff, and their hours are incredible. They have 'walk-in' hour from 7am-8am every day, and are open for normal appointment hours from 8am-8pm, which works wonderfully for working moms. They also have Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday hours (in-office). They are EXCELLENT!

Congrats on your upcoming arrival!

We love Great Kids too. Both Docs are great. They return calls very promptly, even in the middle of the night. Dr Simonowitz is wonderful. She takes time with you and never makes you feel as though you are asking a silly question. - T.

I am now a resident of Pottstown, but I lived in Downingtown when I gave birth to both my children, now ages six and three. At first we were patients of the Kids First of North Hills practice (right near the Chester County Hospital). While we had nice experiences with some of the staff, Dr. Bay and Dr. Wallace specifically, other staff members made you wonder why they even became pediatricians. They did not seem very personable and we just got fed up with it. We are so happy we made the change.

We are now patients of Chester County Pediatrics and frequent their Exton office on Arrandale Drive and even though we live in Pottstown, we do not plan on leaving the practice. We ask for one doctor, specifically. His name is Dr. Faber and although he can seem a little hyper at times, he is personable, genuinely shows concern for my children, and is just such a rare find these days, in my opinion. There is only one doctor that we are not thrilled with but that is because he always seems to think worst case scenario. The nurse practitioners are wonderful too.

Good Luck!

which hospital are you delivering at? you need to have one that is affiliated with your hospital. ok well you don't HAVE to but if you don't, they can't come see the baby while you are in the hospital.

that being said, if you are using Paoli, i'd suggest Greak Kids in Exton (right by Rudy Tuesday). the 2 doctors are both very nice and I've been very pleased by them.

All the suggestions i was given were for pediatricians affiliated with Chester County. I also heard good things about All Stars.

I agree with Chesco Pediatrics. I have a 2 1/2 yo daughter and have never had any problems with getting my questions answered or getting appointments. My cousin took her children (now 8 and 15) there as well. Good luck and congrats!
(Also saw your other request, I run a home day care of sorts (not certified) so if you are still looking closer January, let me know) Best of luck!
