I'm not sure where you live, but a great ped dentist in SE Denver is Nancy Simons at S. Colorado and Amherst. She's part of the Cody Dental Group at ###-###-####. Another one that's in Highlands Ranch off W. County Line is Dr. Lisa Fox at ###-###-####. They're both great but didn't recommend a 1st check-up until my daughter was 3, unless of course there's a concern. Good luck!

There's a Children's Dental Clinic on North Washington Street in Thornton. There's also another one in the more rural Denver area. I see Dr. Lage. He's located off of Hwy. 36 and Pecos. He does a Dr. Sluggo character for the kids. I had a lot of work done there and they are really friendly and very personable. I plan to take my son there when he turns 2. Good for you, getting your daughter dental care early! I know lots of kids who would have benefited from earlier care. Hope this helps!

I just took my 2-yr-old son for his first check-up at Children's Dentistry in Westminster. I got the referal from a friend who has been taking her son there for years. They were absolutely fabulous with my son! He didn't even want to leave. It is a very friendly environment and they only do kids-so everything is set up for them-including a castle to play in while they wait and a video game room for the older kids.

We saw Dr. Whalen and he was great, but I have heard the awesome things about the two women doctors as well. They are sisters.

I called a pediatric dentist in Arvada when my daughter turned one and they told me that unless her teeth are already having problems that they normally do not see them tell the age of 2.

Check out Dr. Lisa Stimmel - she is great and helped us out with a dental emergency for our daughter.

Her web site is www.drlisas.com.

Good luck!
