My sister in law is coming to live with us this summer (brother in law doing an internship in the area for the summer). They have been trying to get pregnant for over a year. She is looking for a good ob/gyn or fertility specialist in the area. (San Ramon, Danville, Pleasanton) Do any of you have any suggestions?

Thank you!

Hi there!
Dr. Mark Lollar in San Ramon! He got my sister and I pregnant and we both had fertility issues, not to mention a few of my friends as well. He diagnosed the problem fast and accurately. He is amazing and he has delivered my 2 girls who are now 16 months and 2.9 years old. I know some other moms have recommended the Reproductive Science Center in San Ramon and I have had a handful of friends go there and just to let you know, most health insurance plans do not cover appointments there.

I only went there for a test, but was really impressed with the people at Reproductive Science Center in San Ramon. They were organized, the facility was nice, and great bedside manner.

Hi K.,

My regular obgyn who also helps with minor infertility issues is Dr. Mark Lollar in San Ramon. He is FABULOUS! He delivered my now 3/5 yr old daughter and is always very thorough, sweet, and caring. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. I think he only accepts PPo plans though unless you go through John Muir Network? His number is ###-###-####.

For A Reproductive Endocronologist, I also recommend Dr. Weckstein at Reproductive Science Center in San Ramon. He is very smart, caring, and thorough. All of the drs. there are highly efficient, and the office staff and nurses as well. I just completed IVF there and was very impressed with the knowledge they have as well, as the personal attention you get there.

Best of luck to your sister in law!

Hi K., I've had lots of experience, unfortunately! Dr. Weckstein at the Reproductive Science Center in San Ramon is awesome! You can find more info out about their practice at www.rscbayarea.com. For just a general OBGYN Dr. Patrick Dawkins or Dr. Mark Lollar are both excellent and both are in San Ramon.

Good luck :)
S.

Hi K.! Dr. Stephen Wells is an OBGYN who specializes in infertility. I know for a while he wasn't accepting new patients, but that was a couple of years ago. I saw him for infertility issues and he also performed surgery on me to remove an ovarian cyst. He is a great doctor and I also was successful in getting pregnant and delivering a healthy baby girl. He is located in Walnut Creek near John Muir Hospital. ###-###-####
