I am moving to Grand Prairie/Arlington area next month. I have been trying to find a preschool for my son for the fall. He will be 3 soon. I would like afew hours 3 days a week and not have to be potty trained. He is currently refusing (very stubborn child) and also, I am expecting in early July. Therefore, even though I have time until August, I don't see it happening but won't give up. Anyway, I can't seem tofind a school public or private in TX that takes kids not potty trained for a 3 yr program. I find it hard to believe that all 3 yr olds are potty trained in TX.?ANy help would be appreciated.

Thanks

St John Lutheran Church is Mansfield has a great preschool. It is located on Debbie Lane and (just west of) Matlock in Mansfield. You might call and ask about their policy about pottytraining.

You might want to check ECYC at FUM off of Center St in Arlington.

First Methodist Church on Center Street in Arlington has programs for all ages so will take children who are not potty trained. You can enroll them 2, 3, or 5 days a week. It's not expensive and the teachers are great. Most of the 3 year olds are potty trained but they are a couple who are not so yours wouldn't be the only one. They are really good at helping with potty training too. Good luck!

I can not think of any Preschool that will take children not potty trained. You may want to look into Mothers' Day Out programs. Sometimes they are more lenient on the rules. The MDO programs run by the Methodist Church have a great reputation and usually included some type of "preschool" through the day. Most of these programs are already registering for next fall.

Check out Spanish Schoolhouse in Arlington. They are at 1850 NE green oaks blvd. ###-###-####. Peggy is the owner. They are so sweet and would probably work with you on the pottry training.

Have you tried a mother's day out program? They tend to be less strict. I'm pretty sure Church at the Cross does not require the kids to be potty trained. It's a Tues/Thurs program 9-2 and you can do Stay and Play from 2-4 for an additional fee. It's in Grapevine and a WONDERFUL program.

Try Ridge Kids program at Walnut Ridge Church. It is located on 360 & Broad St. (I think) in Mansfield. I think they accept 3 yr. olds who aren't potty trained. It's a really good program.
