I think that it is time for my daugher who is 7 to get her hair done at a salon. She has very thick hair and I have been washing, flat iron and about 6 mos ago put a mild perm on her hair. I have vowed to let the professionals take over and I just need to find one that handles kids really good.
Thanks for everyone's response. My daughter is currently getting a press & curl, because I was kind of leary of putting a perm on her hear right now. Her first time in the chair she was so happy and did not give the person any trouble.

I take my 2 1/2-year-old daughter to Cassandra Bonanomi at En Vogue salon on 119th over by The Cheesecake Factory. It's an adult salon, but I didn't like the way the children's salons were cutting her hair.
Cassandra is great with kids, and my daughter absolutely loves her. She does a great job!
