Kid Friendly Hair Salon - Phoenix,AZ

I would like to get my 2 1/2 year old daughters hair cut, I have been doing it myself up until now but she has fairly curly wavy hair and I would just like her to get a decent cut to even things out. I just don't know of any places in the central phoenix/scottsdale area where I could take her, any suggestions?

What can I do next?

Snip Its behind Chandler Mall right next to Target. We have move to Scottsdale & still make the trip out there to get my daughter's hair cut!

There is also a Lollilocks at Val Vista & Baseline, that is where we take our 18-month old son - they were booked last week so we took him to Cool Cuts for Kids and his hair looks horrible!!! :( so much for 18-month photos... but a bad hair cut can happen anywhere I guess.

Hello,

I take my son to Autumn's Salon in South Scottsdale (old town) You can text her at ###-###-#### or call ###-###-####. Her assistant Margrite is wonderful at entertaining children while getting their haircut. I have been taking my son there since he was 6 months old.

I take my son to Kool Kutz in Scottsdale, its located across the street, south of the PV mall. They have cars and a fire engine the kids can sit in. And they have a friendly staff too.

Hi L.,
I work in Mesa at Val Vista and Southern at Divine Hair Design. My name is L.. Our salon owner is a mama of a 23 year old and a 5 year old. I am a new grandma of the cutest little baby boy who just turned 6 months old. I LOVE kids and do a great job cutting their hair. I have another little girl that I cut her hair who also has very curly hair. I may be a bit far for you to go but I'd love to meet you and your little one. Any who, our kids cuts are $12.00 and our phone number is: ###-###-####.
Talk to you soon!

YES!!!
Lollilocks Kids Salon at Desert Ridge
Its ADORABLE!!!! And not too pricey at all. They let the kids sit in the coolest seats & they have a blast =)

Having 3 girls- all of which have something 'special' about their hair (one is curly, one is insanely thick and one has a lot of cowlicks) I would advise against going to any of the "kid" salons. The three times we have broken down and gone (each time to a different place) we had REALLY bad results. I use a stylist at 'Curl up and Dye Salon' at 7th street and Dunlap. Her name is Meg Rowe and she is a mommy and amazing with kids. She does my hair as well and I can't recommend her highly enough!!!! The salon # is ###-###-####. You won't be disappointed!!!! Good Luck!

Hi L.,

I would recommend Unity Hair Salon in Scottsdale - ###-###-#### - ask for Leeanne. She is awesome with adults and kids.

My mom, sister and myself go there as well as my 4 yr old daughter. No one has cut my daughter's hair except Leeanne and my daughter gets compliments all the time about her hair.

In fact, we just had our hair done yesterday and my daughter's hair is gorgeous.

This is not a "kid" salon, it is a regular salon and Leeanne is a specialist is color, style and cut. She is also very honest about what will look good etc depending on the type of hair, shape of face etc. Again, she is awesome and I can't say enough good about her. She has done my hair for 10 years and no one but her has touched my hair.

Good luck.

L.
